Returns & Cancellations Policy
1. Product returns due to incorrect delivery
1.1. In all cases in which, with proven fault of the Company, products other than those sold or substantially different in type or in excessive quantity are delivered, the customer-user of the online store olympicterra.gr immediately returns the products to the Company, intact and sealed, with their complete packaging and the documents that accompanied them, for inspection and verification of the error.
1.2. In the above case, the costs of returning the products to the Company as well as the costs of forwarding the order to the buyer are borne by the Company, as long as the method of return proposed by the Company is followed.
1.3.Returns on bulk food or edibles in cases where there has been no error by the Company or in cases of non-problematic products, are not accepted due to the nature of the products for hygiene and safety reasons.
1.4. In the event of receiving products in glass packaging that have been damaged, cracked or completely destroyed, customers should contact the courier company within 24 hours of receipt. In order to be compensated for any possible damage, the products should not be removed from the package and should be delivered exactly as received to the courier company within 24 hours.
2. Returns of defective products
2.1. In the event that it is determined that the delivered product is defective due to the fault of the Company, the buyer – user of the online store olympicterra.gr, is entitled not to receive, but to immediately return the defective product (intact and sealed) to the Company together with all the documents that accompanied it and with its complete packaging. If it is a defect that was discovered later after delivery and the packaging is not present, or, also, if the packaging of the product was omitted by the distributors when delivering the item, the product is not required to be packaged.
2.2. The return of the products will be made either at the company’s physical store or via a courier company and the Company will be responsible for both the costs of sending the defective products to the Company and the costs of sending the new products to the customer.
2.3.After the products are returned, the Company will inspect the defect, which will contact the customer to inform him of the results of the inspection.
2.4. If the defect is found, the product will be replaced, otherwise the transaction will be canceled if it is not possible to replace the product within a reasonable time. In the event of cancellation of the transaction, the refund of the original purchase money will be made without interest in the same way as the original payment was made, unless otherwise agreed.
3. Return of non-defective products – Right of withdrawal without justification by the buyer
3.1. The buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within a period of 14 calendar days from the delivery (acquisition of physical possession) of the products. The withdrawal is made under the following conditions:
(a) This withdrawal is unfounded and without charge and, if the item has already been delivered, the customer must return the product exactly in the condition in which it was received, with all the accompanying documents and its packaging in excellent condition. The return of the item is accepted only if the customer has paid the shipping costs for the return of the item.
(b) The declaration of withdrawal is sent in writing or electronically, by registered letter or to the Company’s address or to the e-mail address info@olympicterra.gr. It has the following indicative content:
“To the company with the name “OLYMPIC TERRA SUPERFOODS” and the ID number «olympicterra.gr», which is based in Attica (Alexandrou Diakou 31, 14122), e-mail info@olympicterra.gr.
– I/We hereby notify that I/we withdraw from my/our contract of sale of the following goods: …………………………..
– Ordered on (*) and received on (*)
– Name of buyer(s)
– Address of buyer(s)
– Signature of buyer(s)
– Date_________»
(c)Following the declaration of withdrawal, the The Company is obliged to refund the price received within 14 days of the proper return of the products. The refund to the buyer will be made interest-free by the same means by which the initial collection was made, unless otherwise agreed.
(d) In the event that the products are returned damaged or incomplete, the Company has the right to request compensation from the buyer – the amount of which will be determined by the condition of the products – and to proceed unilaterally and without any other party to a total or partial set-off of its claim against the buyer.
(e) In any case, the above right of withdrawal does not exist for products that have been unsealed after delivery as well as for bulk foods.
4. Order cancellation
4.1. Before completing your order and during the online ordering process, you can go back and remove the quantities of products from your cart by clicking the “remove” button.
4.2. If the online order has been completed but the product has not yet been shipped, the customer can contact the Company at the email address info@olympicterra.gr or by phone at 2114071000 and the latter will cancel his order, free of charge. Depending on the volume of the order and the time of its cancellation and if the Company suffers any damage as a result, the buyer may be required to reimburse it.
4.3. In the event that the customer makes a mistake in the order and wishes to change it, the return and reshipment shipping costs will be borne by the customer and not the Company.
